Share your location, when you want

Turning on GPS:

iPhone:

  1. From the Home screen, open 'Settings'.

  2. Go to 'Privacy'.

  3. Go to 'Location Services'.

  4. Ensure the Location Services slider is enabled.

  5. Scroll down to 'Safari', and ensure it is allowed location access while using the app.

Android:

  1. From the Home screen, open 'Settings'.

  2. Scroll down to the 'Personal' section.

  3. Go to 'Location Services' or 'Location Access', whichever your phone shows.

  4. Ensure the Location Services slider is enabled.

 

OR​

 

  1. Go to 'Settings'

  2. Go to 'More'

  3. Go to 'Location Services'

  4. Ensure 'Use GPS satellites' is enabled

Clear maps opening by default

Android:

  1. From the Home screen, open 'Settings'.

  2. Go to 'More.

  3. Go to 'Application Manager'.

  4. Stroll down to 'Maps', and clear 'open on default.

  5. This will then give you the option of whether you'd like to open the map link in Maps or in your Browser.
